The so-called "Centre" was founded in 2010 by "Maman" Thérese Alagbo and her son Perel Selom Gligbe in Kpalimé, Togo. Perel leads the Togolese association "International volontaire en action", or IVA for short, which is the partner association of the German association "Woé zon loo e.V.". Currently, 12 children, including adolescents and adults from 6 to 85 years of age live at the Centre. They all come from very different backgrounds and have found a new home at the Centre. Thérese and Perel not only take care of food and accommodations, but they also ensure that all residents of the Centre receive medical care, as well as schooling and education. But much more than that, they give the residents a sense of community, of being at home and of family. Woé zon loo e.V. would like to support the impressive work that Maman and Perel do through the association. Together with them, Woé zon loo e.V. not only wants to complete the current construction projects at the Centre and expand the support for the children's host families, but also to ensure in the long run that people in difficult situations can always find a new home at the Centre. This school year, school supplies (school uniforms, shoes, backpacks, books and writing utensils) and school fees are needed for eight first graders from disadvantaged backgrounds in Togo. This means that each child will have to pay the equivalent of about 46€. The same amount is needed for each of the nine small children so that they can continue to attend kindergarten in the new school year. Support Woé zon loo e.V. now to enable the disadvantaged children in Togo to access education!
