Sustainable agriculture in Côte d'Ivoire
Assikoi is a community of approximately 16,000 people in the rain forest of the La Me region of Côte d'Ivoire. Assikoi is only accessible by a sandy road leading to the district town of Adzope. The people live from small-scale agriculture, in which they develop small fields in the rain forest by slash-and-burn agriculture techniques. Due to the rapid leaching of the soil and erosion as a result of heavy rainfall, these fields cannot be used in a sustainable manner. This leads to further impoverishment of the population and to constantly increasing wastelands. Help build a cooperative for sustainable agriculture.

HAND IN HAND PROJECTS
Through targeted funding, we have significantly supported the successful completion of these projects.
The Hub Saidek
The project supported "The Hub Saidek" in Bangkok to provide better protection and access to social services for at-risk children. Through renovations and new equipment, the center was optimized to help more children.(grant:10.000 €)
Sustainable livelihood through beekeeping
To combat youth unemployment in Ghana, we supported a beekeeping project. 30 young people learned to create new income sources and strengthen the local economy.(grant:10.000€)
Beekeeping for the Future
In impoverished northern Ghana, we funded a beekeeping training program for 30 women with support from the Schmitz Foundation. The goal was to empower them through beekeeping and create income sources to boost the local economy.(grant: 10,500€)current projects

Planting trees, protecting life
The palm oil industry destroys ecosystems. In order to protect the precious biodiversity in Borneo's animal and plant kingdom, we are working hard on this project to help plant 1 million trees over the next 5 years.

Education creates prospects. This program ensures that vulnerable young people have access to education and the prospect of a better life while living in a safe environment.

Love and aid for humans and animals
The 50plus program combines animal welfare with social support for seniors. Rescued dogs are placed with needy seniors, who thus receive a companion. In return, there is monthly support.
Together for Cebu's children
Since 1992, this project has been supporting street children in Cebu City, a city marked by extreme poverty, providing not only hope and education but also a meal through donations.
