The Hub Saidek
The project supported "The Hub Saidek" in Bangkok to provide better protection and access to social services for at-risk children. Through renovations and new equipment, the center was optimized to help more children.(grant:10.000 €)
To combat youth unemployment in Ghana, we supported a beekeeping project. 30 young people learned to create new income sources and strengthen the local economy.(grant:10.000€)
In impoverished northern Ghana, we funded a beekeeping training program for 30 women with support from the Schmitz Foundation. The goal was to empower them through beekeeping and create income sources to boost the local economy.(grant: 10,500€)
The project supported a detoxification center in the Mae La refugee camp, which is dedicated to treating addiction problems among the Karen minority.This helped the people on the ground to improve their quality of life.(grant:15.000€)
In the remote village of Mfranta in Ghana, where 80 villagers suffered from water scarcity, a well was built. Despite logistical challenges, the project, through local partnerships, enabled access to clean water and improved the quality of life.(grant:5.500€)
We support 87 primary school students in remote Tien Khien with sports equipment to playfully aid their development. The planning in Laos is complex, but we will keep you updated on the progress. Soon, the schoolyard will become a place of joy and movement, so that the children are fit for the future.

Joseph Gana, a skilled carpenter from the Kongo community in the Nabdam district of Ghana, had always been fascinated by beekeeping. Before receiving training, he would venture into the bush to harvest honey from wild bees using direct fire, a traditional method passed down through generations. However, this approach not only harmed the bees but also yielded limited honey.
Everything changed when Joseph received training from the Amediewu Honey Foundation, implemented by CoDA, with financial support from the Schmitz Foundation. He learned modern beekeeping techniques, including how to construct hives, colonize them, and monitor the bees' health.
